Howard’s runs list ended with the Coal Road; some of us vets hope to keep the formal club runs going at least up until Easter as this saves time deciding where to go from Dalton Square and gives members an idea of distance, destination etc. I know some members who are Fred Whitton and Etape Du Dales bound will want to do longer and harder rides but there should be no problem splitting into B and B+ rides at an agreed point on route. This helps to keep the non racing members in contact and avoids the fragmentation of the club into lots of small groups. This Sunday I am happy to lead the ride which was altered due to ice the week before the Coal Road. This is Ingleton, back road out of Ingleton to rejoin the main road at Chapel le Dale up to Newby Head, Dent Dale, Sedbergh for a brew, Kirby and home via Arkholme. John Butts
