New chaingang: Thursdays 6pm Dalton Square

Starting on Thursday 5th April: a Pilling/Cockerham chaingang, aimed at the faster members of the club. However, chaingangs are NOT races. The aim is work together to get a good workout.  Route is planned as Cockerham/Pilling loop (~50miles). A hillier route like Dolphinholme/Oakenclough may come into play from time to time to vary the pleasures. This

Anybody interested in commencing  the  Kirby loop chaingang meet up at 6 .00 pm B-LE-SANDS traffic lights.As lighter evenings develop this will change to 6.15.Lights advisable for delays with punctures,mechanicals etc.I will be there regardless . Mark Robinson.

  An early 8.00 start with a drive up to stavely saw 6 LRCC riders on the road for 9.00 for Leanns ride in to the Lakes, the day was looking great with the sun shining but a cold chill in the air, the cycle way led out of stavely and up the first climb
